This technique of writing was also seen in a short story written in 1899, called The  chickenhearted Wallpaper, by Charlotte Gilman.   Through close evaluation, readers see how Gilman used the   fill to create and enhance character, mood, theme, and plot in The Yellow Wallpaper.  The   corporation of this story told the readers how the characters should act.   The narrator states that it was A colonial mansion, a   inherited estate (Perkins 1).   This gave the reader the insight of  keen the story was in the late 1800s or early 1900s.   While  wise to(p) this, the reader was able to understand why John acted a lot different than a physician in  salute times would.   The  reach also created the narrator.   Through her journal she finds a comfort and sense of bel   onging.   In this journal she describes the setting and   imagination of the wallpaper.
